Let’s go southern hemisphere

Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O’Connor, Lorde, was born on Nov. 7 1996 in New Zealand and has been involved with the music industry for about a year now. She has gained a lot of popularity and is still growing in fame. Lorde has won a 2013 APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) Silver Scroll award. Her first album is The Love Club EP, and “The Love Club” is my favorite song. The first time I heard this song was on 92.9 NIN and I absolutely fell in love with it because of the smoothe harmony vibe. I had to look more into Lordes’ style of music and I found that it is more club-type and light vocals, truly making the harmony. On her second album, “Pure Heroine,” the song “Buzz Cut Season” is the only song I do not like. With her newer songs on “Pure Heroine”, Lorde definitely added some variety, but the song “Buzz Cut Season” has not caught my ears. I do not understand the meaning of the song, I just got a little bit of a springtime feel. Lorde is still on my favorites list, and she is a really talented singer.
