Insiduous 2

This movie definitely keeps the reputation of the first “Insidious” going, which isn’t a good thing. Usually, I can at least give props for creativity. For “Insidious: Chapter 2” on the other hand, I can’t even do that because I didn’t see any. This is the stereotypical bad scary movie. From creepy baby toys to a piano that plays itself, there just wasn’t anything that stood out in this movie.

There were a few things that made me jump, but that wasn’t because it was scary, it was just creepy.

There wasn’t anything terrifying about the movie, other than the way in which the actors performed. If James Wan, one of the actors who starred in “Insidious: Chapter 2,” and the summer hit “The Conjuring” had a longer break in between the two movies, he might have been able to focus and perform better. I don’t think that would’ve helped the movie enough to bring up the reputation, but it might have helped a little.

Overall, the movie was one of the worst “horror” films I’ve ever seen. If they have future plans to make another “Insidious” movie, they should really consider sticking that idea inside a hole and burying it.
