SuperWhoLock brings excitement

It’s official: SuperWhoLock is going to happen.

SuperWhoLock is the combination of the three TV series “Supernatural,” “Doctor Who” and “Sherlock.”

When Mark Sheppard, who works for both TV stations involved, the CW and the British Broadcasting Channel (BBC), heard that they would be facing major budget cuts, he brought Steven Moffat, the showrunner for “Sherlock” and “Doctor Who,” together with the executive producers of “Supernatural,” Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer.

The long awaited mini-series will focus on the characters Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, the angel Castiel, The Doctor, The Doctor’s companions, Sherlock Holmes and John Watson.

The collaboration will air in November 2014 and last until March 2015, while the main shows are on hiatus and will consist of ten episodes set in an alternate reality.

As the world waits until each of the original shows return, SuperWhoLockians, fans of the three separate shows and the collaboration, around the world will be watching as The Doctor, the Winchester brothers and Sherlock collaborate to save the world.
